On Wednesday 10th July, 6 riders from PVCC will depart for Spain for an epic week of riding across the Pyrenees to France.

Taking the overnight Ferry from Portsmouth to Bilbao in Spain, the team will then spend 5 days riding over 800km and climbing over 19,200m en-route to the club Tsar's house in St Puy, France.

The Queen stage is definitely day 3 (Saturday 13th Jul) which is 200km long and includes 5950m of ascent, which is more climbing than any stage in this year’s Giro d’Italia!.

Utilising their very own Team PVCC ‘Death Star’ van, the idea is that there will be five riders on the road at any time, with the sixth supporting from the wagon.

Following a rest day the team will then travel back to the UK via Calais and the Eurotunnel.
